Agreement

By using Brekio, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Brekio is operated by Mateo Orlandini, with domicile in Exaltación de la Cruz, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina. For any inquiry, contact hello@brekio.com.ar.

Beta service

Brekio is currently in beta. Features may change without notice, be added or removed, experience interruptions, or produce incomplete or incorrect results. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or completeness of any analysis.

Automated findings are informational and can contain errors, false positives or false negatives. They do not constitute a security certification, professional audit, or advice of any kind. You are responsible for verifying and acting on the information Brekio provides.

Acceptable use

You may only use Brekio to scan public websites you own or that you are explicitly authorized to test. You must not:

• Scan URLs you are not authorized to analyze
• Use Brekio to attack, overload or degrade any system
• Use Brekio to evade access controls, probe private networks, or reach systems not intended to be publicly accessible
• Use Brekio to distribute malware or facilitate any unlawful activity
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to bypass technical limitations of the service
• Resell or provide unauthorized access to Brekio to third parties without our written authorization

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, and we may report abusive activity to competent authorities where required by law.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must not share your account with third parties. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Plans and payments

Some features of Brekio are available under paid plans. Prices, features and limits of each plan are shown on our pricing page and may change from time to time. Changes to plans you have already subscribed to will be notified in advance.

Payments are processed by third-party providers. You agree to the terms of the payment provider when subscribing to a paid plan.

Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at hello@brekio.com.ar if you believe you are entitled to a refund.

Usage limits and fair use

Each plan has usage limits (number of projects, monthly scans, monitored projects). These are enforced automatically. We reserve the right to restrict traffic that we consider abusive, disproportionate, or harmful to Brekio or to third parties, even if it does not exceed formal limits.

Intellectual property

Brekio, including its software, design, brand and content, is the property of the operator. The scan results generated for your projects belong to you. By using Brekio, you grant us a limited license to process and store those results as needed to operate the service.

Third-party websites

When you submit a URL, Brekio interacts with a third-party website. We are not responsible for the content, availability, or behavior of those websites, and their operators may have their own terms and policies.

Disclaimers

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the service will meet your requirements, that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that its findings will be accurate or complete.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data or business, arising from your use of Brekio, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, will not exceed the amount you have paid to us for the service in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or fifty US dollars if you have not paid us anything.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator from any claim, demand, damage or expense arising from your use of Brekio, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights, including but not limited to scanning URLs you were not authorized to analyze.

Termination

You may stop using Brekio at any time and delete your account. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will publish the new version at this URL and update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the service after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of Brekio will be submitted to the ordinary courts of Exaltación de la Cruz, Province of Buenos Aires, Argentina, waiving any other jurisdiction that may apply.
